WC 2026

First held in London in 1997, the World Championships of Stratego returns — this time to the Netherlands. It is an open event: you don’t need to qualify first to participate. First-timers are warmly welcome.

Across four days, multiple titles are on the line:

• Day 1: WC Barrage — fast-paced 8-piece Stratego
• Days 2 & 3: WC Classic — the iconic 40-piece main event
• Day 4: Country Team Championship and the Open Tournament

You can enter any combination of events. Just note that WC Classic runs over two days. Bring your best game, meet players from around the world, and be part of Stratego history.

Dates: 30 July – 2 August 2026.

Eligibility: Open to all players; Sunday Open is available for all attendees not in a team.

Prizes & Ceremonies: Thursday (Barrage), Saturday (Classic) and Sunday (Team & Open).
