Great Stratego Fantasy Rules
Welcome to the Great Stratego Fantasy Realm — the official side quest to the WC Classic.
Draft your four champions, power up your strategy with a bonus card, and climb the leaderboard as the rounds unfold.
It’s quick, fun, and yes — there is a prize to win.

How to play?
- Build your team with 4 players — from Group A, B, C and D — using a budget of 23 coins. If you don’t have enough coins, you can’t complete your purchase. Leftover coins converted into points.
- Pick a bonus card. Each card lists its requirements; you’ll earn the bonus points only if you meet those requirements.
- You may edit your team until Thursday, 31st of July 2026, 09:30 (Dutch time). After that, teams are locked.
- Eligibility
- WC Classic only. This game applies to the WC Classic on Friday and Saturday. Barrage and other events do not count.
- Exclusive to WC participants. The email address you used for registration is your login. If you register but do not play or do not finish the WC Classic, you forfeit your entry.
- Only registered players may be selected. If you’re early, check back later as more players become available once they’ve registered.
- If you registered multiple times for the tournament, you can still play the fantasy game only once per email address. On the leaderboard, you will appear under the name from your first registration.
- Good to know
- Players are categorized by ranking. Categories are based on day prizes and can fluctuate as ratings change. If you picked a player cheaply and their price later increases — lucky you! If prices drop, you can rebuild to save coins.
- There is no replacement or compensation for selected players who do not finish the tournament.
- In case of disputes, the server timestamp/data is authoritative. Any unsuccessful change, submission, or similar action does not count.
- Prizes & Tiebreak
- The winner takes the Fantasy Cup! The entire top 3 will also receive an awesome game prize!
- Tiebreak:
- Individual score in WC Classic. Sequence: lowest tournament score, lowest MBuch, lowest Buch. Without complete WC Classic participation, this criterion is forfeited.
- Lowest rated player (based on classic Kleier ranking).
- Rock, Paper, Scissors (1x).
